A Tribute to My Brother- Ryan Sharpe
CREATING THE DESIGN
My vision was to make a rock band grunge t-shirt that represented my brother. He loved punk, rock and grunge bands so it was the perfect fit. I created this t-shirt using Photoshop and Illustrator to bring the shirt to life. I included a lion on the front because my brother loved lions and they also represent strength, protection, loyalty and courage, which embodied who Ryan was. He also referred to himself as "King Sharpe", and he was born in the year 1993.
On the back of the t-shirt, I wanted it to look like how band t-shirts list their tour dates. My brother was well-known for his crazy and ridiculous quotes and humour... so I had to include that on the back. I used a photo of him behind the writing by turning his photo into a silhouette. At the bottom, I included the nickname everyone knew him as his entire life, Sharpy.
RYAN'S SHIRT BROUGHT TO LIFE
After finalizing the designs for his t-shirt, my mom and I printed over 100 shirts and sweaters at a local shop. It was surreal to see this design that represented my brother and his legacy, brought to life. Our entire family, his friends, and everyone that knew and loved him, all wore the t-shirts to his celebration of life where we also celebrated what would of been his 30th birthday. We all still wear his t-shirt regularly and it gives us a piece of Ryan to keep with us always.

A TRIBUTE TO RYAN
If you want to experience just a fraction of the amazing person my brother was, I created a tribute video to honor his legacy, memories and spirit, which we played at his celebration of life. Although there's no video, t-shirt, song, photo or memory that will even come close to truly experiencing Ryan's one-of-a-kind soul in real life, I hope this video will give you a sense of just how loved he is and always will be by everyone that knew him. I will never let his memory or legacy die, as he will be remembered & celebrated forever.
